Important Lynx Information Secured Through Freedom of Information Act Lawsuit

Cottonwood settled a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service regarding lynx critical habitat. As part of the settlement agreement, the federal agency agreed to turn over the documents it had previously withheld. The information was later cited by the Ninth Circuit in our victory that ensured protections for 12 million acres of lynx critical habitat in Montana, Idaho and Wyoming.
